I live in the U.S. Is that cheap or expensive compared to other years? I know that translates to roughly $3.33 per gal which is quite expensive here. To put it in context gas right now is 51.3 cents a litre.

Hey lucky. I’d kill to pay $3.33 a gallon. Gas prices even in the US depend on where you live. Major metropolitan areas and some states tend to be much higher than national average. World wide the US in general has pretty low gas prices. In Japan some years ago it was about $6 a gallon roughly for fuel. Germany last time my fiends went was pretty close to $6 in places. For Australia- 87 cents a liter is about 40-60 cents a liter cheaper than highs of the last few years. Somewhat akin to about half a decade or so back when US gas prices were averaging over $3 a gallon and were over $6 a gallon in some markets, and then they dropped back down to the current lows.
