Nice, a local plant?

Nope, just a weeb who watches way too much anime and used to spend a lot of time in the botanical gardens.
However, my initial identification was incorrect: this is actually Gloriosa superba, a flame lily, and the national flower of Zimbabwe.

Ooh, even better, I didn't know that.
And spending time in botanical gardens sounds like time well spent
