Can ϲockroaches be white? Albino maybe?

I like the meme, but I feel like @title is making a very clumsy comparison.

The concept of who is white or not is mainly a question of power distribution. There were times when Irish and Italians were not regard as "white" by the higher classes in America. Turkish immigrants and their descendents are sometimes not seen as "white" by europeans. Turks sometimes see inhabitants of the former Ottoman empire as sort of less than white, although they probably not use that word.
