Damn sorry to hear that, hope you managed to make it feel a bit like a cocoon.

Well this room is a single bed room, unlike the previous one I was in (same university, just a different hostel) and I have an attached bathroom rather than a community bathroom. I haven’t “personalised” this room yet because I don’t know when I might go home. Till then the only downside of staying here is that we can’t have food delivered within University gates (either go to the gate and get it or don’t get it at all) and our mess hall is the only option for food (not always satisfactory taste). Other than that I don’t really mind being here

Yeah that’s true. I can just blast death metal from my laptop without worrying about disturbing others. Much easier to study that way
