I doubt people will put thought into what I say but I'm a sucker for punishment apparently. Your neighbour eight blocks away doesn't matter. Your family and close friends do. Those are the people you can actively help, assuming you're in a position to take care of yourself. The neighbours opinion, thoughts, struggles, none of that is your problem or concern. If he can't take care of himself then he has family or friends.

I think everyone matters too, but the gist of the post is probably that not everyone's opinion matters, which I fully agree with.

I think the gist is "don't let the haters get you down" but I see what you mean.
