I’d tell my mom she was the world’s best verbally abusive mother

My grandmother once told my mom "you're so great at laundry!"
Maybe the fact that she was 60 played a part in her not buying it.

But if it genuinely made you interested in cooking or it made you really good at it, was it even a play?

@title I'm sorry about that, mate. My mom is nice but my grandma from my father's side, oof, she's a piece of work. I haven't been telling her anything personal for years now because I know for a fact she'd use that against me, ie. to belittle or insult me in front of other people, the first chance she gets if I did something that displeased her.
