These so called memes are never funny

I'm American, and I don't understand this trend... Hell, I even take my shoes off when I get home, it just feels weird walking around on the floor, (carpet, tile, whatever), with shoes on.

If you have only hard flooring then wearing shoes in the house can be a medical thing. I walk on concrete 12 hours a day and the only time I'm not in pain is when I wear my running shoes in the house. Without them I'm usually limping.

Umm, American here and we always took our shoes off when we got home. Many of us do. I'd say it's just as common as not.
