@adam44 you can celebrate with us through memes :D
.
@memesgobrrr lol well it does kind of fall by the wayside since it is so very close to the 4th of July. Which is fine - Americans should take pride in the country so many of them fought and died for :)
.
So should Canadians for that matter, despite the government consistently closing their stranglehold on the people as of late
Well our fearless leader arrested a political opponent for attending a protest outdoors during covid, which may sound all well and good, except there have been several other outdoor protests and gatherings -- particularly related to the growing attempts to start race wars -- that people haven't been arrested for
.
They cancelled Canada day celebrations in a lot of places because gravesites that likely contain indigenous children were "discovered" this year [and by discovered we mean they already knew they were there, but now we want to talk about it]. Which is weird because before covid not even the native community seemed to care about the graves - they were more interested in trying to extort the entire country for control of a pipeline...
.
...a pipeline that is more environmentally friendly in the long run than transporting oil by train, but because environmentalists throw tantrums, canada has to go on wrecking our own economy while oil workers have to worry about [cont]
Stepping in bear trap laid by said environmentalists

They are currently holding lotteries for the vaccinated despite knowing full well that the vaccines can and have caused myriad health issues and are not necessarily effective
.
We have compelled speech here, which means if you don't refer to someone the way they demand, you can be fined and, by extension, eventually arrested
.
There's Bill C10, which is censoring our ability to have speech and communicate on the internet
.
Trudeau was pushing legislation that would allow the police to search the homes of ANY gun owner without a warrant (idk if it went through)
There have been protests where the statues of the founder of the country have been splashed with paint, toppled over, lynched.
.
There have been protests for trans black gay rights (which is more important than rights in general)
.
There have been dozens of protests. The only ones Trudeau seems particularly concerned about are ones his political opponents attend, or ones talking about covid
.
Which is fair, because, as America has taught us, despite covid disproportionately effecting minority communities, it never shows up to a BLM protest.
Oh people also want to turn Canada Day officially into a funeral forever more, but also want an official aboriginal day, the end result being I guess natives get a way to celebrate themselves, and everyone else just has to beg forgiveness for crimes they didn't commit for the rest of eternity
.
Which, as we all know, is the path to true healing o.O
Noooooppe. Our leader is a fan of Communism and went to Castro's funeral to pay respects. There's a lot more but to shorten his offenses he should be charged and convicted of treason.
Canada *had* good leaders, once.
.
It's honestly pathetic - people care more that Trudeau dressed up as a different race once than they do about him literally destroying the entire country from within
I wasn't his citizen so I can't fully speak to his actions and effects but not getting paid was a smart thing to do.
@memesgobrrr Yeah that guy. It's a sad day when a country forgets recent history and elects Castros "nephew".
Thanks @memesgobrrr

The "stranglehold" is why I'm extra focused on what Canada really is. Not this goofy ass garbage that is going on.
