At least it wasn’t kept long enough to form a strong bond and have it’s little heart broken, maybe it’s lucky enough to just see it as having been a nice little holiday rather than a failed escape attempt or an abandonment
Well in all fairness, some animals have had traumas in their past and can be constant work, biting, scratching, destroying things. I don't know if that was the case, maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, but in this case I could understand it.
Still, a discussion with the people working at the shelter should prevent situations like these, they'll warn you and tell you exactly what you're signing up for, so that animals wouldn't suffer like this.
