I mean, we all burn money on something someone else thinks is stupid. I'm a leatherworker, I throw money in a pit and light it on fire to make 12th century clothing. How dumb is that? I just bought a caribou hide for $110! Who even needs that?!

The difference is that you could sell what you make, and actually gain a profit.

not as much as you'd think. To turn a profit you have to sell at insane prices if you are giving yourself even $10 an hour. I mostly look to break even, that's why it's a hobby.
