Do people think 300 pages is long for a book?

I'll admit I read the 7th Harry Potter book in one day when it came out.

Wow. Was it as awesome as you hoped?

I was disappointed in the epilogue. And still am. "Albus Severus, you were named after two men who made my life hell. One who left me to be raised by an abusive family, and the other who was obsessed with my mother and bullied me and my friends incessantly."

Heck. Yes. Adolin is storming dumb in that book, but I still love him.
"I'll fight you and whoever you bring!"
Boy, you walked right into that one.

"Honor is dead, but I'll see what I can do."

That was an intense scene. I think my eyes fell out of my head. Haha

Unfortunately, that's all some people can handle. I prefer an investment. I like books that are long. They provide more hours of entertainment.
