CNN? The company that admitted to prioritizing - NOT the truth, at ANY time - but to using covid to terrorize the population, specifically to get more money in their own pockets?
.
The company whose reporter describes the Taliban as "chanting death to America, but seemingly friendly" -- while women just like her are being forced into subservience and abuse once again by that same group?
.
The company that was so set on creating racial tension they got caught falsifying evidence to make an innocent kid look like a racist, actively working toward destroying his life, and only backed off when a judge threatened to air all their crusty, dirty laundry?
.
THESE are the goddamn pieces of garbage comparing themselves to soldiers??
.
Yeah, I'll be sure to thank them. With both middle fingers.
Big oof;
If this was written by someone who's been reporting out of an active warzone or something, I'd understand and perhaps even sympathize a little bit; I mean that person would still mostly be nowhere near the danger soldiers are in on the daily, but it's still pretty dangerous compared to most of our cushy Western lives;
But it's not that, it's fucking CNN; That guy, gal or nonbinary pal who wrote this probably thinks they're attacked when someone sends them a mean tweet;
(PS sorry for the semicolons, the website kept insisting there's a link in the comment so I had to edit it like that)
