As a German I'm biased when it comes to calling a fermented, alcoholic fruit beverage "beer". It's not beer. I said it. The 500 yo Reinheitsgebot defines beer as consisting of nothing but water, barley and hops. Anything else added, it's a hard soda. Why not. But why though? If you want a fermented fruit beverage: there's Bionade. If you want a spiked fruit juice: there's vodka. If you want a beer: there's beer. If you want to mix beer and fruit soda: there's shandy.

I'd try it but I'm really not a fan of the ultra bitter aftertaste. I'll bet it smells fantastic though.
