You wouldn't have a source for your claim, would you? I can't find the 2022 executive budget. Or really any indication that government spending is going down. His spokesperson was actually on air saying that government spending is good? And I'm wondering if that piece of shit thinks we're actually lemmings.
Huh. They're sending Ukraine enough money to build a dozen border walls and then some.
We were counting on a Russian representative to negotiate a nuclear deal with Iran?
The Saudis and Venezuela left Brandon on read?
Goddamn I'm behind on the news, or did this all really happen in the last week?
Oh boy, I can't wait for midterms!
Should I even begin to look at things beyond what the executive office has messed up this week alone?
Oh, congress gave themselves a raise and democrats are telling people who can't afford gas to buy Teslas? Fucking lol!
Do you see how emotional you are? You have built up a bubble of confirmation bias that has rendered you so fragile that one little prick of fact sends you flying around from topic to topic like a balloon someone let go of.
.
I can get the site to allow me to post the url but Google “us budget by year” and its the one from UCSB dot edu.
Of course I'm emotional, these people are liars, thieves, and murderers. You should be emotional, too.
But no, I'm not in any "bubble" of "confirmation bias".
No "prick of fact" made me do anything. I only tried to verify your claim and then found all of the above in a very abbreviated period of time, and it's hilarious, in the same way watching Rome crumble must have been hilarious to the men of the era.
But to ahead, defend the indefensible, make like every other liar and tell me how what I heard and what they said aren't actually what I heard or what they said.
Now, tell me. Are they actually cutting costs and saving money? For real? Or do you just want to believe the people who haven't told us the truth in most people's living memory?
I’m not listening to “the people” I’m looking at the numbers. Numbers don’t have politics. All the “printing of money” was done under Trump budgets. Biden is reigning in the spending and “printing”.
They probably aren’t. The infrastructure bill they’ve proposed alone would increase costs tremendously. I can sum up what a lot of businesses courses and years in the board room will tell you though: “you can’t expense your way to profit.” Things cost money. If you have no job and are saving money, you could look at your proposed budget and say: “This will cost 50% more on clothes and fuel this month!” But if you need new clothes to land a job and has to get to interviews, long term you are better off spending the money than not spending it and not going to job interviews or wearing 70 year old clothes with holes yeah? A giant wall has done and will do little for the economy. Investing in our future and the global security for commerce and democracy is maybe a better bet.
Well, we found two people who don't know what the build back better bill is, or what helping the American people looks like. Or even how federalism works.
But again, defend the indefensible, drink up the gaslighting, and don't even acknowledge the lies.
So you demand proof and when I provide it you just deny it and insult me? Why would anyone put any stock in what you think if you are going to deny facts provided to you in favor of what you feel is happening.
Facts? Lol.
Tell me what all the dems want to do will cost, and what they have done has cost, and then look me in the eye and tell me Biden is cutting spending and that everything bad is actually the fault of Putin and Trump.
Of course, and the numbers are? The net difference between what the liars say their budget is and what they're actually planning to spend?
I understand that the exact figure is tough to find, they deliberately obscure, lie, and mislead about it, but a difference of so many trillions has to at least tell part of the story.
And no, I'm not fabricating anything. Also, inexact numbers are kinda worthless when they leave out other inexact numbers to the tune of several trillion in one bill alone.
Politician state intent and fail to follow what they said all the time. By stating it as fact you are fabricating truth. Provide numbers or admit you aren’t to be taken seriously.
I already said it would cost a bunch of money. I also didn’t say I support the “build back better bill” at any point. I said infrastructure and investment in the future is important.
if someone says they don’t support a law that would fund schools by killing jay walkers it doesn’t mean they hate schools or live jay walkers- it means they don’t support that particular piece of legislature. Probably because such a law is quite extreme.
Also, scatmandingo makes a valid point and it can be seen here as well as other discussions like the one we are having about white supremacists elsewhere- you have your feelings and passion- that’s good. Express them and care deeply about things you care about. However- your feelings don’t equate to or change facts. Stomping your feet and saying something is wrong is not an adult way to communicate. The loudest or last word are not default the correct word. Maybe channel some passion into research and add some facts to your convictions.
It’s up to you wether you want to insult people or not, I’d say it’s generally considered rude and generally not constructive, but it’s your choice. That said it certainly isn’t respectful in a discussion of opinions. Our convictions aren’t only in how strongly we argue our case or how widely we shout it- in fact to the contrary that can be signs of a “paper Tiger-“ if we truly believe a thing, the patience and prudence to research and explain our stance shows a conviction through actions requiring more than an emotion and a keyboard. You’re a smart guy who has valid opinions and deserves a voice like anyone else. These are just my suggestions on how you can use it to maybe get the message out better when you feel passionately about something.
On and on guest goes.
Hey, scat. The budget you're citing is just stated intent, too. Or have they stuck to it ever in the history of money? Either way, you're treating it as fact and are clearly fabricating material and cannot be taken seriously.
Where did I call you rude? I said it is generally considered rude to insult people. Sometimes I forget things but I am not a forgetful person. Our behavior in a moment doesn’t define who we are in absolute. I am not sure what your issues are with me exactly and have never gotten a straight answer, but it seems like a lot of it comes from a place where you seem to have trouble understanding what I’ve written. It could be because my general writing style is a bit formal and dated. Not sure. You can always ask me if I intended something a certain way and I’ll answer if there is confusion or offense. I’m here to clear things up and hopefully keep a positive chat environment for everyone.
That’s your opinion, as I said earlier, you’re entitled to your opinions- but opinion isn’t fact. Thankfully for me it isn’t the only opinion on the matter. One of the great things about our wonderful world and democratic society, many people have different opinions on many things. So long as we are respectful of each other we can discuss and share our unique opinions.
I’m sorry if you don’t find our interactions positive. I’m open to constructive feedback and discussion on how we could improve your experience.
