It is rather interesting isn’t it? this phrase is often used to apply to leaders or to others than ourselves.
We can blame society or leaders for our bad times while maintaining that if more people thought like us, agreed what “strength” is- things would be good.
This ignores the big question of “what is strength?” and what these other terms mean.
Of course, if the leader is weak- what does that say about us who don’t have the strength to replace that leader with a strong one or to lead ourselves?
If we take this as true- wouldn’t we need weak men to make hard times so that we could have strong ones emerge and create good ones? Or can people be strong and driven even in good times, which would invalidate this premise?
