Calling yourself alpha is such a beta move

I'ld stick with Stoli Vodka made from Alpha Grade alcohol but it seems that's on the EU sanction list.

Is this debunking just the thing where the experiment where the term was coined turned out to be flawed that doesn't actually debunk the concept at all because nobody uses the term in the scientific (or pseudo-scientific, if you want to nitpick) sense?
