What did OP think cats do at night?

they run around screaming at ghosts and paw at you for food they decide not to eat... they basically turn into midnight crackheads.

The cat also gets the house for a while every time everybody leaves.

Someone in my neighborhood was walking a cat on a leash. The cat was over it and refused to walk anymore and needed to be picked up.
