Working public transport is so worth it.

That's basically how the tram and buses work here. I walk about five minutes to the stop and wait for one that takes me the right way, there's one every five or ten minutes. I check the timetable on holidays so I'm not stuck waiting for fifteen minutes but otherwise I can be across town within half an hour of stepping out of my door.
