Satire is necessary

Social media is the new opiate.

I mean- considering we are in the middle of something that governments and medical professionals are calling an “opioid crisis” I just assumed opium was the opium of the masses.
I can’t really say much much else as far as what people choose to do in their free time as long as they aren’t hurting people or trying to stop others from enjoying their freedoms.
