Every weekend I go to church (yes, Catholic) and sit through one priest's weekly rant. I've kept track and every time he starts its "Political Rant #73" ... #74"... every week he tell who is to blame and who we should all hate... just like Jesus would do... right? The other priest, Father 'shorty' (is like 5'1") always good stories about being a better person, doing good, finding heart... not around much anymore. Think I want to join crusade, on the side of the Persians.

Lol. Yeah. The thing about organized religions are- they’re organizations. Many people, all kinds with many beliefs who happen to share some. There are “good” congregations and officials and “bad.” Some of the absolute worst people I’ve met- and I’m not alone, and history chronicles the horrors as well- are those who claim to act on religion. You’ll find Christians who say certain politicians who lie, bribe, spread hate, who put their name and their glory before god and who don’t even claim gods name in their works or praise god for their achievements but credit themselves- are sent as chosen of god. It is easy to find in most groups those who claim to follow its ways but act counter to them. For all the talk about the hereafter mattering more, a lot of these religions heads and followers sure do seem invested in the material aspects of life. Well, I’m glad you seem to have at least one good priest and sorry they are around less now.

Forget the Persians. If there’s another crusade I’m joining the penguins. That’s the only team worth being on for a crusade.

Fascinating idea, especially as mascot. Christians cannot speak ill of them as "God created all life" and yet they were not on the Ark with Noah because Antarctica floats.
