i wouldn’t even really care that they did this if the character and the series were supposed to be silly, or if the source material was ridiculous to begin with. but She-Hulk was a respected member of the MCU with a complex origin and the show is supposed to not only be taken seriously but, i guess, be a pinnacle of feminist empowerment. this feels degrading to the character in what is already a show that is on thin ice with many longtime MCU fans, and doesn’t present itself as anything ANYONE should take to heart. it makes it feel cheap, and that is so disappointing because there is SO much they could have done for this character. and now, one of the most common responses i’ve found on YouTube to this is guys saying that NOW they’re fans, and asking who’s more thicc, MTS or She Hulk. like, c’mon. what did the writers honestly expect?

it's 4th wall breaking, which she-hulk did before deadpool, and they also take her origin seriously... and how fucked up the name is. Also that old pixie lady is totally fucked up beyond belief.

she is as silly as deadpool, just controlling her anger at the stupidity around her, while deadpool just leans into it; she-hulk dancing naked... idk ifi real, but it would make sense
