I was about to say, like wtf?
1. NEVER just guess if it's loaded or not. No matter the situation you're in you'll be REALLY glad you checked.
2. Simply discharging a weapon is enough of a message, pointing or shooting is something else entirely. Pulling a weapon is also enough to escalate situations real fast, what you initially intend to be a warning can turn deadly. Don't discharge or point a gun unless you are sure you may need to use deadly force, not as a scare tactic.
4. Maybe if your in a warzone or an equally dangerous situation. Don't fire your weapon if you don't have a proper target or you can't see beyond your target, that's absurdly reckless. Im sure no one would want to accidentally shoot someone unintended and bullets can easy go through glass, cars, walls, etc.
3. ALWAYS keep your finger OFF the trigger with your index finger pointed and resting at the side. It's literally shown in the picture. Only when you are about to aim and fire should you place your finger on the trigger. This goes with muzzle control. Keep the gun pointed down and away even if your finger isn't on the trigger and yes, even if the gun isn't loaded. Make it a habit.
