Yes, but bad is a bit too general I suppose. The action being purposely harmful and hurtful (even if they don't always realise it) makes it a bit more specific I think.

It's a bit of a conundrum to explain because if it's deliberate how is it unconscious. I think that's where wholesomeness comes in. It's easier(?) to follow I suppose
