And a perfect example for an auther who didn't plan ahead. The last books amounted to hate-reading for me. Great beginning, nice character development at least for some characters and some really exciting story arcs. Then, after the author had written himself into a corner and didn't know how to finish the story, an ending that was complete rubbish.
