I see that similarity, another similarity I see in the same vein is the realistic “passing of the torch” as older generations die or realize they should step asides to make way or have accomplished what they set out to do.
That one must seem very strange and unbelievably fictitious to a younger generation dealing with 60-80 year olds clinging to senior positions and millionaires refusing to retire so they remodel one more time while their 30 year old juniors are stuck in their careers and having trouble finding a place to rent let alone buy- but I assure you it is at least historically accurate.
