Well that took a tragic turn. Beautiful, though, thanks for this.
And it's true. So many people complain how their "life sucks," and maybe they think it does, or maybe something bad happened, but some people have to deal with that everyday...
One thing I've noticed over the years is that the ones who complain loudest about drama and other bs are usually the ones stirring up the shit. At least that's what this reminded me of. I don't really care much about the "justgirlythings", but I do get a kick out of it when people have a little fun with them.
/\ True /\ but hopefully something like this puts it in perspective so you can deal with it and move on. There are a lot of drama queens out there. Everyone has a sad story to tell...it's all in how you deal with it.
this is beautiful and don't think that for one second I don't respect these amazingly brave men and women, but can we please be allowed to have feelings and want to share them?
if it something that matters...otherwise you are spreading negativity. Gotta learn how to deal with life without draining others. We ALL have our crosses to bear. Lets uplift each other instead of draining each other.
Everyone has problems, in each individuals lives they find them at varying difficulties. Yes, this is extremely sad and soldiers do not have an easy life, but just because someone is not a soldier does not mean they have any less of problems, especially to them. Please try to respect everyone. Feeling for and praising soldiers is awesome and encouraged, but please try not to put others down in the process. :)
Sorry, forgot to login! I don't wanna get ragged on for being "anon" and posting... Everyone has problems, in each individuals lives they find them at varying difficulties. Today's teens(including myself) are so caught up in their own personal drama. It's a good change to see this and to remember that we have very superficial problems compared to the heroes serving our country.
Ok, at most feels posts I'm just like "We'll that was sad... Moving on." Now this one... I cried so much. I love photography (and film) that captures and emotion well without words.
This makes a point but is also dumb. Everyone has problems, regardless of the severity. This is like telling an anorexic to knock it off because other people don't have food. Or telling someone well off who is depressed to just be happy because other people are homeless and relatively happy.
Yes, but I think this post relates more to the stupid teenage dramas, not depression, eating disorders or mental problems. It's more like, if you're a teenager, and you've had a silly little problem, it's nothing compared to what others are facing, so suck it up and take it in. It's part of life.
Welp, I guess it's time to stop telling anorexics and bulimics to cut it out because there are little kids in China that are starving. Or stop being depressed and be happy, because you're starting to sound like a little b!tch.
You're wrong about one thing, though. It IS helpful...in making those people go away.
Being in high school, I see these girls all the time who believe that all their problems must lead to suicide and smoking and so many things that are considered " the thing to do ".
They don't realize that there's war torn countries and people out there who go through things that are unbelievably horrid and terrifying. Things that I know for sure I couldnt handle.
I wish this generation can get off their cliche ideologies and see what's going on in other countries.
