It's sad, everyone ignores the homeless but no one stops and asks how they got to be where they are. Everyone has a story.

I'm not saying this man in particular is lying, but there are homeless people who have been known to invent sob stories to gain extra sympathy and coins. I'd personally prefer to support homeless shelters and other registered charities. Edit: To clarify, I am not against helping the homeless! Their stories deserve to be heard. However, I also know that some individuals take advantage of others. Just take care and use common sense.
I'm sorry you got downvoted. Tends to happen when you make sense on FS.

Heh. Well, thanks. I like to picture those who down-vote without commenting as being whiny young adolescents who yell out "Noooo" as a response to anything.
Seems they don't take the time to think about anything for more than a moment, then when someone comes along and posts something intelligent, they get mad because it makes them look stupid by comparison.
It's probably the same exact people that make 5 word posts about feels/dafuq/escalated/stahp/etc constantly. It's bad enough people post like that in the first place, but it would be awesome if people weren't downvoted for making thoughtful posts or engaging in intelligent and/or adult conversation.
