use a piece of paper under your hand but over the drawing. simples.

If you write in a certain way as a lefty, then your hand doesn't drag across the words and your hands don't have to be dirty.

Yeah but that's not natural to some of us. Just gotta find the right kind of pen that doesn't smear easily. Pencils are another story.

It actually makes writing a lot more comfortable than the way most left-handed people write. My grandmother always ensured that we wrote that way as opposed to the way that was natural to us. It's a lot better so I don't screw up papers I have.

MY GOSH I FEEL LIKE SUCH AN IDIOT. My first thought when I saw the 'surfing' bit, I thought it meant that if you surf to often your hand turns silver from like, sticking your hand into the wave next to you. And then I read the comments.
