Growing up I had a speech impediment and one of the fellow students I met at a speech class had a British accent but his parents weren't British. His speech coach was British though and that's how he learned to speak.

My parents Spanish accents are way too strong to pull off talking in a British accent. When they try they sound a little bit Indian. I can't do accents for shit though....I really wish I could though :(

I know I grew up with a British accent and my little sister too in 3th to where I am now I had an British accent and I ain't even one bit British and I was always made fun of and I was shy to people over react to something super small!

I know someone from Boston with the accent, he doesn't even know anyone British.

Except, this isn't really a thing. I was born and raised in England, moved here at age ten and sound American. You can be influenced majorly by your speech patterns until you go through puberty. Your subject to influences beyond then at any point, but your base expressions will be where you are raised. So unless she was bleeding at 7, and had no human interaction outside of that...she's full of crap.

That happens to me every time I finish a Doctor Who episode. (I just started watching it o.o)
