I don't really believe this is true... but only because I'd rather believe the whole thing was a made up story than to believe that after not getting caught for so long finally doing a good deed is what sends those people to jail. Yeah, I.... cannot imagine any even semi-plausible scenario directly after this that would NOT end in those drug dealers getting arrested.
Unless they told the cops she was crazy—or, say, on drugs?—and they have no idea why she came to them. Or, more likely, the parents were so grateful they got their kid back they didn't report who it was? Doesn't say the cops got involved anywhere, just that the parents told the girl she has to choose rehab or getting kicked out.
It's true. No one, and I mean no one, would want to hurt innocent children at all. I mean, as bad as you can get, you wouldn't want to hurt a helpless child, now would you?
just goes to show you cant judge a book by its cover. drug dealers aren't inherently bad people, and people who grow up in the best of families aren't inherently good people either.
