Impersonating an employee, harassing employees and harassing customers are just a few off the top of my head. When I worked for Wal-Mart many years ago, someone dressed like an employee, but was not one, did get arrested for harassment. Cops don't think shit like this is funny and neither do the stores.

Something that people tend to forget is that stores are private property and there are rules of conduct posted, though nearly everyone is unaware that they are.
Impersonating an employee can be judged as trespassing because your intent is not shopping. Same holds true for things like panhandling, selling for fundraisers distributing literature and so on.
