You can use an iron to get the crinkles out of paper. *grins ominously*

An iron will only set the dirt in permanently. Try to iron crinkled paper and you will only get something limp, never to be crisp again.

Maybe... it takes it even farther by symbolizing that like with the iron, someone can go to therapy but they will never have the same trust (metaphorical crispness) that they had before they were bullied (crumpled).

My art teacher taught us this in 3rd grade. Our paper was named "Chuck", and I think it was the most helpful lesson I've ever learned in school.

Not a bad lesson. Shame about the lesson on grammar (*"bullies") completely NOT sinking in - oh, unless this was written by an American, or something.

A horrible thing to teach kids. Teaching them that they are weak and can be permanently, irreversibly damaged.

Yeah, it's better to tell them someone killed themselves because they were too strong and happy.
