I think this message is not only for animals. It's also for humans, because, unfortunately, children do get neglected, and then there's that one person that can always make their day.
Is that supposed to be cantankerous? cancerous would be having to deal with cancer, while cantankerous means bad tempered....as to the "neglect" unless you watch them 24 hours a day, you have absolutely no idea whether they talk to/play/feed/let inside/etc. There are lots of people that don't let their dogs inside their house, doesn't mean they neglect them by any means. Maybe the person works nights so they play with the dog during the day while you are at work. Lot of people also view things like dog treats as bad. Same as some parents won't let their kids eat any candy or chocolate or whatever, how would you feel if you were one of those parents and you turned around and looked back to see that some asshat had given your kid a big bar of chocolate. How worse would it be if they happened to be allergic to an ingredient and you killed them with your "good deed"? I know there is a lot of animal abuse out there in the world, but personally this doesn't look like it at all.
The dog doesn't even look underweight or anything. Most people that "neglect" their pets forget to feed them too. Should probably get all the facts before doing things like calling animal services.
This is not a fun substance at all.. I think this is supposed to be a feel good sight... Now I feel bad. Maybe you should either contact authorities, if its serious.... do something- I dont know. This post is disheartening.
i want to take him home, give him lots of yummy food, cold water, and a fluffy bed, and lots of petting and cuddles...those people should be put in jail and you need to report them.
You sir, are a fucking asshole for not doing more than that if it is as bad as you make it seem. I hope you go through hell and instead of anyone actually doing something to help someone throws you a dog treat and says they did a good deed.
That is not a good idea! My dog has pancreatitis and now she has a special diet and if she eats anything she is not supposed to she could get very sick and die and things like that happen a lot to older dogs and you don't know if he has dietary problems of not! If you really think that there's a problem talk to the owners and if they seem like they don't care about their dog's wellbeing THEN you should call your local animal protection. Also this dog looks absolutely fine!
Downvote me to hell I dont care I'm just saying the right thing to do.
Yeah, my kitty just got diagnosed with diabetes and her blood sugar can rise a lot from the treats they make :( You never want to feed an animal unless you know that there won't be a problem.
This is so heartbreaking this beautiful dog needs to be removed from his neglectful owners & re-homed to a loving home. Does anybody have any information regarding this dog?
People needs a reality check , Animal protection will take any animal away YES to end up dead like millions of cats and dogs in the US so before you jump the gun thinking you know someone's else's life think you are sending the animal to their death . That said the dog in the picture does not look underweight , does not have patches of missing hair or discoloration , is not tied up so its free to play and enjoy the sun ect. No one knows his life just cause someone posted something is automatically true . LORD . See most people think they are doing the right thing even by scooping little cats off the street and taking them to a shelter they are killed the same day or within 48 hrs not enough fosters to feed them . SO think before you act US kills about 11 million dogs and cat every year . Be part of the solution , volunteer, foster , donate , take your pets to spay and neuter
It's a privilege, not a right.
If I were you, I would give that dog a bowl of treats EVERY DAY.
FOREVER.
