Yeah this would be a great way to make friends....if my generation actually bothered to read, *sigh* I swear the only people who seem to understand some of the complete nonsense that goes on in my mind sometimes is you fellow funsubstancers
The rising of ebooks doesn't help either.
Adults: try hanging out at cafes and libraries. If you are going to find other adults reading in public, this will be the places. Good luck.
Teens: you are at a huge advantage here. Take an individualized lit class, or really any class your school offers in which reading books of your choice is part of the curriculum. Espeically useful if there is class time to read. Find out what your classmates are reading. It won't even be werid to ask because you are in the same reading class.
Baring that the library and cafe may also help you.
