That always had me wondering. All those cars stopped on the road with all that gas in them and this motherfucker is walking around on a horse. What the fuck!?
OK. If the show were good enough to keep me interested for longer than a half season at a time, I'd still be watching and know that. The first half of the second season was kind of a deal breaker for me. It could have been summed up in one episode and gotten the plot moving along.
Nice to see someone who doesn't let the show slide just because "omg zombies". I really want to like the show, but you're right, in the episodes I've seen, the show really drags. Not to mention I've seen too many dumbass things happen, like some guy shot his buddy because he was slowing him down while escaping zombies, but they had time to fight for a couple minutes before the zombies even got close to them. I mean, wtf?
I can't emphasize this enough:
Try the audio drama "We're Alive."
.
If you have even the slightest interest in zombies or post apocalypse stories, you need to give it a listen. "We" are in the middle of chapter 41. Each chapter is split into (usually) three twenty minute episodes. That's over 40 HOURS of audio entertainment that out classes WD by leaps and bounds.
