I have this vague idea that ASCII symbols hold a different code than a normal character. For example, [alt]+302 is a period. Watch... "." However, this "." is also a period, but it was created by pressing the 'period' button. I wonder if these appear the same on the monitor but byte-wise they're different. That ought to fuck over whoever looks over your shoulder...alt+444, alt+845, alt+54, alt+989 ect...
