He is actually really nice in real life and in most of his other shows (mostly shown in the UK). He is kind to the children because they're inexperienced children that have a lot to learn versus the contestants on Hell's Kitchen. Most of the contestants on HK are adults who are boastful about their skills and when Ramsey catches them on their bullshit, he calls them out on it.... in his own special way.

And everyone says that he's a horrible person. He gives hardcore criticism where its needed and gentle encouragement and help to those ho need it

I don't think he's a bad guy either - the guys on Hells Kitchens are always dicks about how great they are ar everything they do despite the fact that they went on the show to get help...

He's actually really nice. The only show he's mean on is Hell's Kitchen. He's nice on Master Chef

The difference is that these kids are just beginning. They are just making these mistakes, and he's teaching them to learn from them. He yells at the adults because they are people who have been cooking and have been doing what they have been doing for years. They know what they're doing, they just choose to do it that way or have been practicing mistakes without ever caring to correct them.
