Well now that really isn't fair. I had a hysterectomy but I still have an opinion!

oh sorry, the way i mean it was that boys shouldn't be immature about it cos they've never had one - of course you can have a valid opinion on it, it's not like you never had a uterus :)
:-) Thanks. It's still a sensitive subject since I just had the surgery so I'm probably too touchy. Everyone on here is always so great, I need to lighten up! Happy New Year mcdonaldo, thanks for your sweet reply!
I do as a matter of fact. I have an amazing little girl who is the love of my life. I wanted more, but am incredibly lucky to have been blessed with an amazing daughter and consider myself indescribably lucky to have her.
I might be biased, but I truly believe that the reason I got so lucky is because she is the only biological child I'll ever have. I definitely won the jackpot with my one and only.
Look ladies, I get it. It's heinous what your metabolism does to you every 28 days. It's terrible, even crippling... but it's not carte blanche to be a raging bitch to people.
.
You expect men to go above and beyond their evolutionary instincts... As you should. You should also strive to be better than what evolution has done to you too.
Do you... Have you ever met a woman? We're fucking insane. There's no way to fix ourselves, even if we try. It's.. It's just natural and apparently the way the world wants us to be. You can't just ask us to change, it's not that easy. We just can't help being "a raging bitch to people". And just as Jennifer Aniston says, no uterus, no opinion.
I'm going to add that there is scientific evidence that hormonal changes cause a significant shift in mental status. There is an actual change in brain chemistry that directly contributes to that whole raging bitch thing. I'd love someone (men especially) to tell us all how to overcome brain chemistry!
Right, and men are hard wired to look at a woman chest, buttocks and over all figure as a means of determining a prime candidate for mating, for determining the best possible outcome for the survival of future offspring. In today's modern age when we do we are sexist and creepy.
Fine.
This isn't even hormonal, this is evolutionarily hard wired. It's part and parcel of antiquated maleness that we must fight because we are expected to. The least you can do is try.
Well, smitty, some of us are.. But as you may have noticed, the world is a bit corrupted. We can't help but fall into desire, or lust, because it's just a normal, humanly thing.
Fair enough. This is all too true.
I know that the original image was ment to be funny... but... I just find that subject frustrating sometimes.
We are all products of our evolution... I just think we should strive for more. I'm trying. It's a fight that I fight everyday.
*sigh*
*pats back* It's alright. You just stepped on to a battlefield with women, and not all of us a level-headed. I understand what you're saying, so not all hope is lost.
Men openly ogle women all the time, it's an accepted part of society. What the hell are you even talking about? It's an understood part of relationships that men should be able to look as long as they don't touch. Women are judged as being jealous, controlling bitches if they call a man on openly checking other women out. You're just being silly.
I was simply pointing out that there is a chemical change, starting in the pituitary gland, that changes a person's behavior. I went through a year and a half of chemo that severely impacted my behavior and find the subject both intriguing and very personal. I do apologize if you took offense or I came across as anything other than interested in the subject matter.
^^^ I like you even more now. I think you're the nicest person on the internet. If one of us is pissed off we'd just be like "What'd you say, bitch?!" But you're just so... awesome...
Thank you! I find the whole base instinct thing interesting, but there's a big difference between the need to procreate and monthly hormonal changes. It's apples and oranges, since women do have the same physical urges as men.
When you have cramps so bad that it causes you to not be able to stand up and bleed so much you feel dizzy to the point that they have to take you to the doctor I think I'm allowed to bitch at you.
