I assumed it was using the word loosely, seeing as I've never heard anyone say it absolutely must be done.
I could be wrong.

Is this debunking just the thing where the experiment where the term was coined turned out to be flawed that doesn't actually debunk the concept at all because nobody uses the term in the scientific (or pseudo-scientific, if you want to nitpick) sense?

Imagine treating people differently due to race 4 comments

That would be treating them different based on language and the ability to understand them.
Not really comparable.
And that's assuming they're not just literally relieved to be able to understand someone and haven't been treating people differently at all.

This image implies the level of darkness in the world is constant, making all attempts at improvement pointless.

Well that was a hell of a tangent that I had to try real hard to not to just respond with tl:dr, but the gist is that unlearning involves "replacing" learned... behaviours?

Wait, if unlearning involves adding new habits doesn't that meaning it involves a learning component?

Unlearning doesn't have a learning component... silly, but understandable.

There's something about teachers being obligated to be available outside school hours, I think, but I'm not sure how it works.

Out of curiosity, are you here who know people who prefer "Indian" from the US?
I'm asking because that doesn't really seem to be as much of a thing here in Canada, and I'm thinking it might be a regional thing.
