Huh. So 'Felidae' got a game? Pretty obscure source material, but I'm not complaining.

"Heleophryne rosei" - a sneaky but pretty little croaker. One of the 6 species of ghost frogs found in Skeleton Gorge. Their habitat is threatened by pine plantations (much like how Spooks are threatened by Padorus) If it keeps up, they might end up being nothing more than ghosts. (It is believed that at one point, they did go extinct. But a large pink alien lady brought them back to life. Don't let her efforts go to waste)

A charm made from the skeleton of an East Asian bullfrog (Hoplobatrachus rugulosus), also known as the lucky frog. (Why is it in a glass case? 'Cause they're always after me lucky charms)

"Beelzebufo ampinga" - the biggest bonk to ever thonk. It's believed that their maw was so big, they could feed on baby crocodiles and small dinosaurs. Their closest living relatives today are the South American horned frogs. (It is whispered that at this time of year, spook lords summon the powers of these frogs when riding against the fuck bois)

The skeleton of a Goliath frog (Conraua goliath), the largest known frog species. An essential part of any skeleton army. (They're not extinct, but they are endangered. So sadly, there are plenty of these to go around)

"Incilius periglenes" - the poster child for extinction. This tiny toad lived only in a small area north of Monteverde, Costa Rica. They have been gone for 30 years (the last sighting was in 1989) Once the face of Costa Rica's biodiversity, they now serve as reminders of the fragility of life and the need for conservation efforts. (On a brighter note, sometimes species previously thought extinct have been occasionally rediscovered, so maybe someday these jungle jewels will shine again)

Chytridiomycosis is a disease caused by chytrid fungi (such as "Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis" and "Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans") Pictured: A Spencer's tree frog ("Litoria spenceri") being swabbed to check for the disease.
Symptoms include extreme lethargy and shedding of skin, as well cysts within the skin in which the fungal spores grow, and from which they emerge and spread. Interestingly, infected individuals will still try to mate, and it's been suggested that the fungus actually makes their calls more attractive.
(I got no joke, this thing has driven dozens of frog species to extinction worldwide. But there is hope: certain frogs with specific types of bacteria in their skin do seem to be immune. Researchers are hoping to find a way to combat the disease by studying them)
