At least it's not a bologna pony. I hear those are the most dangerous ones to ride.

There was also one with a secret cabal and alien faction. I think it was the Tiberium Wars series.

Kirov reporting!

The Command & Conquer series has more a few entries. And this one is by far my favorite. When it comes to real-time strategy, I don't know if any game can match up to Red Alert 2 (well, Starcraft was pretty good too, but I prefer the former's aesthetic).
I remember only finishing the Soviet campaign (world domination, comrades) and mostly playing custom maps afterwards.
The Soviets really did have some cool units and structures, like the Tesla Coils, Tesla Troopers, Desolators and of the Kirov airships. Oh, and giant squids.
The allies were no slouches either, with their chrono-technology (Chrono-miners, Chrono-Sphere and Chrono-Troopers) and their Prism Towers and Tanks. Oh, and a storm generator.
And yes, later Command & Conquer games had a Chinese and terrorist faction too...

Nostalgiavember Day 26 - Looney Tunes 1 comments

It's not surprising that they'd have a Thanksgiving episode (or several) since Looney Tunes have been around since the 30's and are still going.
The Chuck Jones era shorts are classics. While the jokes were funny, it's the incredibly smooth animation that really sticks out for me. That and of course Mel Blanc's legendary voice work. The newer Looney Tunes just don't have the same punch without.
Bugs Bunny is everyone's favorite (quite literally; apparently he's the most popular cartoon character of all time). I also remember really liking the shorts with Sylvester and his son. There were also a couple of spooky shorts with him that did creep me out.
I seem to recall as well that sometimes when there was a explosion gag, it suddenly and weirdly cut to the next scene. I wonder why... (That's rhetorical, of course. I know why)

I do not sit on train tracks... anymore. But I do drink lots of milk. It helps the pain, and it's good for your bones.

I did have a few ideas. Basically the Night King kills everyone, turns them into wights and the Long Night descends upon Westeros, but not Essos. The last shot would be wight Jon Snow/Aegon Targaryen looking towards the East from King's Landing with wight Daenerys by his side and her three undead dragons flying overhead.

I don't know if it was the user's intention, but @roanoke was the name of an English colony in what is now North Carolina. It was first established in 1585, then abandoned. Then re-established in 1587, then found deserted three years later.

Though not as well-known as other fighting game titles (like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat) this game still stood out due its unique mechanics, outlandish character designs and amazing soundtrack.
I know the first thing you noticed about the gif I used. Well guess what. She's a girl, her name's Justice and she's a Boss in the game as well as a secret unlockable character. And yes, she's quite OP.
My favorite fighter though is a vampire named Slayer. Other characters I liked to use were Anji (a fan-wielding gentleman), Zato-1 aka Eddie (a demon-possessed corpse), May (pictured) and Potemkin (not the ship, but almost just as massive).
I remember also playing Survival Mode a lot in this game. I think I made it to a Golden Dare Devil (which if I recall only shows up after 500 wins).
I wonder what their crossover with the DCU would look like. Probably best it didn't happen though...

This should be a Pokémon. It could be called Carktos, cactus + arktos (bear in Greek). Or maybe Pricklear (prickly + bear).

That theme is still a bop. I remember how hyped I was when the movie came out. Up until then I'd played MK I and II and I couldn't believe they'd actually make a movie out of it. Back then, video game movies were still a novel concept. I remember there was also a TV series about Kung Lao at some point, with Shang Tsung as the main antagonist.
As for the games, I mostly played MK II. Liu Kang was my favorite (yeah, kinda clichéd to have the main character as your fave, I know). Scorpion was a close second. When he tells to GET OVER HERE, you just can't refuse, you know? I also liked playing with Mileena, Reptile, Jax and Subzero.
I think I only managed to pull off a Fatality once by accident. It was Kung Lao's decapitating hat throw.
FINISH HIM!

So, satire is "pushing an agenda" now? Well, Twitter is more 'twit' than 'wit' one might say. Are T**** supporters just triggered by his depiction in the show or something?

Or, Las Tortuga Adolecentes Mutantes Ninja. I have no idea why I remember the Spanish name. Especially since the first I saw of this show was the Italian dub (surprise!) on Rai Uno.
It's strange that although it contains so many elements that should make it memorable, I don't really recall much of any of the episodes. I remember there was a heatwave episode where April had to report in a swimsuit (can't possibly imagine why that stuck with me).
But the characters I can't forget. The turtles each had their own distinct personalities. I remember liking Donatello and Leonardo the most. April was cute. And the Shredder was surprisingly menacing. That brain thing he was always with freaked me out.
I also saw some episodes of the darker and edgier 2000's series. The turtles were a lot slicker there, and the stories had more tension. Also, Casey Jones aka good Jason Voorhees.
So yeah, in conclusion, I like turtles.
