Fun fact: The Nights Who Say "Ni!" used to have a slightly longer name back in the day.

Nooo, @rosalinas wants to eat me. Oh, how about you eat @hyperion instead? He'd probably be into that.

@captainjackharknes, I know. I'm saddened, but not surprised.

I really wish I had better advice to give than just "things will be okay." Especially since I absolutely know what you're going through.

I don't know who needs to hear this. But you're doing okay. Don't blame yourself for what you can't do, focus on what you can do. Even if it doesn't get any easier, I know you'll pull through.

Who donates a bong? People with high standards.

Frog Pete is less controversial than his human counterpart, I'm told. And Saint Froggolas' legend is far less gory.

Not really. I had French classes in school, so I still remember some basics. Probably not enough to hold a conversation though.

@purplepumpkin, c'est un peux sus. Mais je te crois... pour le moment.
@anthracite I believe a lot of countries in Europe celebrate the 6th of December as Saint Nicholas' Day.

PoGo Project #91 - The Official Seal of Hamburg 2 comments
happy_frog · 3 years ago
@f__kyeahhamburg, proud port city and home of Hamburger seals. (Obviously, Hamburg has other animals as well, but I feel a Seel represents their connection to water the best. Plus, using Miltank or Tauros would have been in poor taste)

Best thing about Italian cassette tapes...they change sides themselves halfway through 12 comments
happy_frog · 3 years ago
Oh, that's 'cause the above meme makes fun of Italy for switching sides when they were losing WWII. My comment, while ironic, is intended to point out that while this is true, Italy never lost a hundred-year conflict like England did because a teenage girl (Jeanne d'Arc) got involved. And yes, Jeanne was burned at the stake. But that was after England had already lost.
*
While we're on the subject, I find interesting that Germany (a power who lost WWII and is still paying off war debts) is doing better economically (4th largest in the world) than the UK (5th largest) who "won" the war.

It was England. England lost the Hundred Years' War to France. Of course, while Jeanne d'Arc wasn't solely responsible for the French victory, she did play a pivotal role.

The way they look into the camera before doing that flip off the fence is just full of the exaggerated swagger of a frog teen.
