I mean, "hippopotamus" does mean "river horse" in Latin. And, (un)surprisingly the German names for "bat" (Fledermaus) and "turtle" (Schildkröte) also mean the same thing as they do in Swedish.

Well, even if you wanted to, it might prove rather difficult given that Czechoslovakia no longer exists. I hear Poland is still available though.
