There have only been a handful of girls who have had a positive personal impact on me, but I am glad to have met them, and I'm happy they shared some of their goodness with me. And hey, this year I actually have some specifics; on this site no less.

I had a nice convo with @purplepumpkin last week, which made me feel better about myself.

@lydia's enthusiasm for Pokémon makes me happy. And @bethorien and @creativedragonbaby's understanding of my more... obscure tastes is quite reassuring (I'm deep in the rabbit hole, send help).

Well, I don't have friends at the moment (unless you count the people on this site, though I don't know if they think of me as a friend) so Sakura it is, then. And, you know what? I ain't even mad.

And yeah, things move very quickly in today's world. It's easy to feel as though you're getting left behind. But knowing that someone had a similar dream is strangely comforting. So thank you for sharing.

I don't really know if I'm the one turning into her (not that I'd mind). Because the perspective shifts from first to third person, it could just be that the focus moves from me and my friends to Sakura and her friends. Wow, that might actually make more sense that I thought: giving more attention to an anime girl than to friends...
