Happy Saint George's Day! 2 comments
happy_frog · 3 years ago
So the UK and England don't really have a National Day. But since Saint George is the patron saint of England (among other countries) his Feast Day (April 23rd) is the closest they have. On occasion the Monarch's Birthday (which doesn't necessarily coincide with the current monarch's birthday) may also be used in lieu of a National Day.

She can't win. Aqua-types are weak to Froggo-types (at least in the anime, the irl game meta might be different).

This vid has been on my list for a while, but you beat me to it, you sneaky kitty. (Also, it seems no one's figured this out yet, so I'll just let you know: coffee_frog is my alt, so there's no point in tagging both usernames.)

@xlaxxine Fetishes are not given. They are awoken. (But yeah, if at all possible, don't fetishize frogs.)

Agreed. It's clearly Satsuki. (Do I need to specify this is a joke, or should I trust people's common sense?)

Insofar as I can tell, no. But there are frogs which have bird-like calls (such as Quang's tree frog). And some mockingbirds can imitate frog calls.

I know no one wants to hear them at 5 a.m. but they are a nice sound during the day. More specifically, it's great that I can listen to the sparrows again (there surprisingly weren't any where I lived before) and of course the collared doves. Their call is my favorite. An interesting sidenote, there seem to be decidedly more rock doves in my town then there were before...and seagulls for some reason.
