I wonder how employing that philosophy is working for him.

Oh, I don't think people on this site are afraid of sharks...gummy or otherwise.

Reptilians are just a conspiracy to keep humans distracted while the octo-people take over.

Now there's a terrifying concept. But yeah, those would be frog, so they would count.

Tako Tuesday Week 6 - Octodad (Video Game) 3 comments

I know Father's Day is over, but octo-dads deserve recognition, too. Because it's not easy to balance being a father, husband, and evading a chef who wants to cook you all the while keeping up the façade of being a human while having all the mobility and grace of an actual octopus on land. One of the main draws of this is its ragdoll physics, which make accomplishing mundane task quite challenging. In that sense, the game has been compared to QWOP. But that's also its main source of comedy, and what endeared people to it back in 2011.
(I do wonder about the conjugal aspects of Octodad's life. But perhaps it's better not to pry.)

Oh, the law applies to frogs, does it? Then where are the frog representatives in congress, huh? And no, frog-faced humans don't count.

If I didn't know "mele" means "apples", I would've been certain those are potatoes.

"Oh boy, I sure can't wait to enjoy this quiet summer day or night."
"Haha, drill go brrr."

Seriously, everywhere I go people just can't seem to stop hammering, drilling, and banging. Oh well, at least there's a way to cushion the blow to my eardrums. Obviously they don't cancel the noise but they do help. And it's better than using wax. For that I am grateful.

I did not see that coming. It's almost as unexpected as when Aslan returned from the grave as Mufasa the White to fight the evil forces of the Decepticons.

Since today's Father's Day, and since I recently finished the Invincible comics, I thought I'd feature a rather...complex comic book dad.
He's basically Goku, if Goku never got bonked on the head and if his mission was a little more complicated than just taking over Earth.
What's interesting about this Chad dad is how he goes from pretending to care about the people of Earth to actually caring, to shifting his focus back onto his own people (the Viltrumites), though under completely different circumstances to eventually atoning for his misdeeds (through - Spoilers! - his death).
Through it all, he does still manage to be a supportive father to his sons (with some teensy, not at all worth mentioning exceptions). It's gotta be the 'stache, right? 'Staches give you dad powers. I bet he has 'stache stash.

Since I missed the May date, I'll be using the US date to celebrate fathers and paternity. And once again, I'm featuring one of the best daddy frogs around (unless they get hungry), the African bullfrog; seen here digging a ditch so his tadpoles can swim to a larger pond.
