Hopefully this year's bug tribute shall appease him so that he may cast his benevolence upon his subjects yet again.

Thanks for the tag @catfluff. And @funkmasterrex, did you take this pic yourself? If so, may I ask where?

It takes two to tango. She is both my and your responsibility, and we must raise her to the best of our abilities.

My goodness. Who could that malcontent possibly have been?

But, given that you did it in a just a couple of minutes, I'd say it turned out better than expected.

Aww, I'm first? That's very sweet of you. Also, dare I ask for a Froppy rendering?

This seems authentic. It doesn't appear to be a forgie-ry.

Tako Tuesday Week 13 - Squidward Q. Tentacles 2 comments

Many are familiar with this cynical cephalopod, for indeed to know Squidward is to know thyself. More than a few can relate to the feeling of being stuck in a life that they loathe and the idea that their talents go unappreciated. Of course, in Squiward's case, the lack of recognition is rather justified. That doesn't stop his bouts of self-pity and his pessimistic outlook. Even so, he does get some moments of triumph, like when the marching band he puts together manages to wow his much better off rival, Squilliam Fancyson.
Still, his existence is unenviable if very relatable for a lot of people. Nobody wants to be a Squidward but they are Squidward, and you're Squidward, and he's Squidward, and I'm Squidward. Are there anymore Squidwards that I should know about?

Perhaps. When sufficient funds become available.

I don't know. Shikamaru doesn't really seem interested in other people's problems. (I am kidding, of course. I know what you meant.)
Gratitude Journal Week 21 - Common Sense 1 comments

For much of my existence, I believed it to be a misnomer. But in these troubled times, I am glad that it has prevailed so far. It is easy to forget that the people so vocally opposed to it are in the minority. But I should be grateful to them as well. For whenever I harbor any self-doubt, they make me realize that I at least still have my wits about me.

Technically you're right. However, it was revealed in a Justice League Unlimited episode ("Epilogue", I believe) that Terry is indeed Bruce's biological son. And I don't think Terry would appreciate being compared to the Robins, or the suggestion that he was being used.

Parallel Earths created as a result of the Flashpoint/Infinite Crisis events respectively (basically continuity reset events). Both are set 50 years into the future, and feature (mostly) new incarnations of present superheroes. The difference between them is that one has a hyphen in its name and one doesn't. Pictured above clockwise are: the new Green Lantern (Kai-Ro), Warhawk (the son of one of the older Green Lanterns - John Stewart - and Hawkgirl), Aquagirl (daughter of Aquaman), future Flash (Danica Williams), Micron, Big Barda (an OG), the new Batman (Terry McGinnis, biological son of Bruce Wayne) and OG Superman (just...older). And yes, this is the Earth on which the "Batman Beyond" series is set. Interestingly, the animated series inspired the comic version. Usually it's the other way around. (Now that's some planning for the future, isn't it?)

Or go with the third option: the iFrog. It's like a regular frog just more expensive, and the tongue is sold separately.

Well, there's an imagine. And I've no doubt that there are people who are into that.

But it is worth noting that toygers are actually derived from breeding Bengal and short-hair cats.

They're grrrrrreat!
*
And that is in fact what they're called. It's not just someone with a Brooklyn accent saying "tigers." But their name is meant to be a contraction of "toy" and "tiger." The breed's creator, Judy Sugden, wanted to draw attention to tiger conservation.
They're a very rare cat with only 469 individuals registered, and only about 35 breeders worldwide. And despite being around since the 80s, they were only recognized as a separate breed in 2000. (Some believe this acknowledgment came after starring in cereal commercials, and after people stopped mistaking them for small stuffed tigers.)
