What better way to start off the Month of Love than with the lovely @rosalinas. Yugioh loves its roses (there's literally a card called Rose Lover — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Rose_Lover —) and this card, Rose Witch — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Rose_Witch —, I feel captures both her pretty and her prickly side.
*
Mark of the Rose — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Mark_of_the_Rose — is a real card, and its effect of taking control of an opponent's monster reflects @rosalinas's goal of hijacking posts, maybe. Rose Whip — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Rose_Whip — exists, too, but is anime-only.

I don't know, but I can certainly wish you good luck for this year. One thing that might tip things in your favor are that it's specifically the year of the Black Water Tiger; black as in Yin (the feminine side) and, well, snow is made from water.

Chinese New Year or the Lunar New Year is celebrated not just in China but in other East Asian countries as well. Celebrations start on the day of the new moon which varies between January 21st and February 20th. This year it's February 1st.
*
The frog in the pic is a tiger-striped treefrog (Callimedusa tomopterna, or Phyllomedusa tomopterna). They're found in South America, not Asia, but I'm sure that doesn't stop them from celebrating.
*
An interesting tidbit is that there is an old Tibetan story called "The Tiger and the Frog". It's very short and it can be read in full here: https://sacompassion.net/the-tiger-and-the-frog/
*
Not sure what the moral is supposed to be. Maybe it's to use your wits, or maybe don't catch a tiger by his toe, but by his tail.

Ah yes, the "shitty personality" guy has something to contribute, and it would be deflection, no less. Someone should also inform him that it's rather difficult for people to be alone (as he wished on me) when others keep showing up.

It's been a few days, so of course the above would start something. Well, gotta give credit that he lasted this long. (He probably doesn't hear that often.)

I have the vaguest memory of having watched this at some point. Then I looked at how old the vid is, and I'm like yup.

@blazingfrags's name makes me think of an incendiary shrapnel bomb. Such a concept would be kinda hellish in real life, so a card like Chthonian Blast — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Chthonian_Blast — feels like it more than delivers the payload. (I wonder if this post will blow up?)

I don't check out the chat too often, but when I do, @bensen is usually there. It's practically their personal blog. And that's okay, since from what I've seen, they usually write about what movies or shows they've watched. So it's a good place to get some recommendations.
*
The monster used is Doodle Beast - Stego —https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Doodle_Beast_-_Stego#/media/File%3ADoodleBeastStego-JP-Anime-AV-NC.png —, a reference to their doodle posts. Of course, @bensen themselves is represented by the kid on top of the doodle, Frederick — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Frederick —. I'm sure his appearance is comppletely true to life.

Really depends on the brand. I found that some cheap coffee, for example, does only increase my heart rate while doing little else. Some (like Pumpkin Spice) tastes good but does nothing to keep me awake. I guess you just gotta find a balance.

Now now, while the anxiety is extracted from the frogs, the farmers have assured everyone that it was done in a completely humane way. So this anxiety is totally guilt and cruelty free.

YugiPro #15 - Does It Work as a Hyperlink? 2 comments

@stormlink15 sounds more like a Spell Card than a monster, hence the typing. I recall they mentioned that they really liked Raidraptors. A fine choice, indeed. Most Raidraptors are Xyz Monsters, but for obvious reasons, I decided to focus on Link Monsters. Also, I don't remember which one was their favorite so I decided to go with a card that features the Raideaptor crest, namely Rank-Up-Magic Revolution Force — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Rank-Up-Magic_Revolution_Force —.
