Pumpkin carving may be an alien concept to Terry, but he still did his best.

On the upside, no one has to feel as though they're (completely) worthless.

She should have gotten a pit bull. According to the internet, they eat babies.

Don't know if I should be proud or worried that I understood that reference.

A Halloween staple for over 60 years now, the original song was written by Bobby "Boris" Pickett. The "mash" in question refers to the Mashed Potato, a dance craze popular in the same year as the song's release.
Though a parody song, it became popular quite quickly (it caught on in a flash, if you will) and people still play around the spooky season to this day. In fact, in 2021, it was listed on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart at number 37 (it's still a graveyard smash).

A monster frog of Wabanaki myths, they are said to damn up rivers and cause draughts (weird thing for a FROG to do, but who am I to question elder wisdom). They were defeated by the hero Glooskap and turned into the bullfrog familiar to us today. (Who are only slighty less likely to block rivers.)

It kinda looks like a place I used to live in, so yeah, I'd take no issue with one night.
