Oh man, this is the most complex question in Christianity, and I'm not a scholar on this so anyone feel free to correct me. The general consensus is that Christianity is monotheistic.
The three entities are the same, yet independent from one another, and still being God. Some Christians believe that God uses them individually, similar to 1 man putting on 3 costumes, but those believers are few and sometimes labeled heretics. The majority of Christians believe that the all three exist independently, but are God.
I don't know of any Christians, who believe God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are three separate gods. Generally people pray to God, through Christ, in the Spirit.

That's not the definition of paganism. And speak kindly friend, to some of us He isn't a false God.
